International Issues

Business & Leadership

Our electives give students a taste of an exciting new subject meaning they can develop a completely different area of their English and gain an idea of what they might like to study later at school or university.

Our Teaching Style
The approach we take to teaching prioritises communicative skills, giving our multi-cultural groups the opportunity to share ideas and consider new perspectives.

We focus on engaging and dynamic activities, classes include the use of videos, interactive online games and apps, debates and group projects all of which help strengthen different language skills.

Our course has been designed by EFL specialists and is complemented perfectly by our immersive English environment. What's more we integrate the academic side of the school with the activity and excursion programme to reinforce student learning, meaning students enjoy faster progress.

Why take a General English Course?

There are so many benefits to taking a general English course and most go way beyond improved grades at school. First of all, Your English Summer gives students the unique chance to study in a highly international environment and thus make friends from all over the world. Such an experience can provide great preparation for studies in new areas and help students start thinking about their future. What's more, strong English language skills are obviously essential for older students who might be considering studying abroad or their university options.

1-to-1 conversation booster

There are few better ways to develop language skills than through intensive 1-to-1 practice with a native-level speaker, which is exactly what is on offer in these sessions which are tailored to individual needs and interests. Our 1-to-1 conversation classes provide the ideal way to support language learning and help students enjoy even faster progress.

These classes can be booked for up to 4 hours per week, take place in addition to morning classes and are the perfect opportunity to focus on spoken English skills, improved fluency, pronunciation or specific topics.

Exam preparation

For any upcoming English exams such as PET or IELTS, extra preparation always makes all the difference. For that reason, we offer exam classes which can also be booked in addition to the general English course for up to 4 hours a week.

These classes will be run for small groups and will offer students an introduction to the exams they might need to take back home over the forthcoming academic year or beyond. There will be an opportunity to try practice materials, receive feedback and gain a better understanding of what is expected in their particular test.
